WE ARE MADE IN AUSTRALIA
FROM 100 % COTTON
The nature of the denim we use has a smoother, more all-round quality. There are no denim mills left in Australia, so our denim is sourced from Turkey. Turkish denim uses less starch in its manufacturing, so the jeans already start off a little softer and easier to break in. It wears very well, and washes evenly, keeping a uniform fade across the garment.
Everything else is done in Australia. That is, the fabric sourcing, pattern designing, garment making, laundering and embroidery. Every step in the process has had hours of research put into ensuring we have achieved the highest level of denim quality, a pattern design that is a great fit, and the prefect wash to ensure you get plenty of wears out of them and they age well.
CHUTE 9 was founded in 2019. After many years of wearing jeans out too quickly, it was decided that women needed better Jeans. "We believe every female should have the option to work in style, comfort and quality. These Jeans are for work and play, because we should be doing both". The idea is to make jeans that you actually want to pull on every morning and they work in favour of your day. They are designed to withstand work demands whilst being a style statement you can wear anywhere.
"We believe that every female should have the option to work in style, comfort and quality. These Jeans are for work and play, because we should be doing both"
Our first pattern was sampled on six 'models' in 2019, where it was confirmed we had a design that could hold its weight in the Australian Agriculture Industry. The girls who sampled the jeans complimented on the fit, comfort and style of the jeans. They loved the fabric, its colour and how they wore wash after wash. These girls wore these Jeans for 12 months to get trusted feedback and valued results.
Our first production run consisted of 120 pairs in total. After a long wait and a few last minute alterations ,the go ahead was given and we finally went live on the sale of our first batch in July 2020. We sold 87 in the first 7 days and completely sold out within a month. This sell out alone was confirmation that we would go ahead and restock. Our first 1000m of denim was purchased and plans were underway for 2021 to restock and stay stocked.
This year we will be expanding our production volume and the sizes we carry. We look forward to supplying jeans to our current and future customers. Stay tuned on instagram to follow our journey throughout our third year of CHUTE 9
